It’s All About Me!!

Today is my birthday!! Yippee!! Yeah Me!! I’m not going to lie, I love presents!! I’d like to say they don’t matter to me, but that’s just not true. I get so excited about opening gifts. My friends Cindy and Brenda love to watch me because I’m like a kid on Christmas morning. I rip through the wrapping and throw the trash on the floor. There’s no pretending to care about how pretty it is, or gently untying the ribbon so it can be saved, I want to get to the good stuff. I already got some really cool things from Julie, Julie, and Kate and I’m anxious to see what my husband and kids are giving me. My sister’s gift will come later in the week. She’s feeling a lot of pressure because I got her that really cool Swatch watch, so I am dying to see what she comes up with. My celebration with Cindy and Brenda hasn’t been scheduled yet, so I’ll still have that to look forward to after today is over.
I’m hoping for a peaceful day…no fighting with the kids, maybe getting in a run, a nap would be lovely and dinner out would be the icing on the cake, which by the way is white with raspberry filling!! I’ll let you know how it goes.
